CMAC Confirms Expertise on MK-84 Bomb as Evidence Supports Cambodia’s Claims

Phnom Penh, August 2, 2025 —The Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC), with over 33 years of experience, has been actively engaged in clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO)—including bombs—left behind as remnants of war across the Kingdom. To date, CMAC has successfully cleared and destroyed more than 3.2 million landmines and UXOs.

With this extensive experience, CMAC experts possess deep knowledge of both old and modern explosive devices. Several logical facts related to the recently discovered MK-84 bomb on the battlefield can be revealed—facts that will clearly confirm the Kingdom is telling the truth.
